Ali co-founded a recruitment agency with Cody and ran it with him for years before the two of them built Synapse together. He lived the parts of recruiting that broke at scale — endless sourcing, manual screening, and writing the same outreach over and over — and set out to automate them without losing the human relationships that close placements.
