Synapse Hire is an AI recruiting automation platform founded in 2025 by Ali Taghikhani and Cody Sklar. Ali ran a recruitment agency for years before building Synapse to automate the parts of recruiting that broke at scale — sourcing, screening, and outreach — while leaving the human relationships intact.

Why we built it

From running an agency to building the software

Ali spent years running a recruitment agency. The work he loved was the human part — talking to candidates, understanding what a client really needed, and closing the right placement. The work he dreaded was everything that came before it: combing through profiles, screening for fit, and writing outreach email after outreach email.

That repetitive work didn't just slow things down — it broke at scale. The more roles the agency took on, the more hours disappeared into sourcing and screening, and the less time there was for the conversations that actually move a search forward.

The tools on the market each solved one slice of the problem and left the rest stitched together by hand. So Ali and Cody built the tool they wished they had: one platform that sources, screens, and drafts outreach automatically, then hands the relationship back to the recruiter.

Synapse is that tool. It's built by someone who did the job, for the people still doing it.
